    Great Quality FilterI use this strainer to filter my wine going from the secondary to third stage of clearing. Does a great job and is very easy to clean. 5400 is very fine. Works well with watery liquids400 is very fine. Works well with watery liquids. Probably too fine for higher viscosity liquids, it'll take forever. I'd go with the 200 one in that case. It is not very large, so one has to pour carefully. Needs a support and some tinkering around to pour from a large to a large container, pot, can, ... 4Finest strainer I ve ever seen.This mesh is so fine that it appears to be a solid piece of flexible plastic. The holes are not visible to the naked eye. I use this to strain herbal infusions between mason jars. Liquid passes through amazingly quickly and ends up beautifully clear.The only con is that it requires a 5in funnel for the best fit. The standard Ball canning funnel is slightly smaller than that. It still works fantastically, but you need to pour carefully and use one hand to hold the funnel and strainer. 4Awsome strainerThis strainer is awsome. I use it mostly for straining kombucha yeast. The holes are so small you almost can't even see them with the naked eye. the 400 is great I wouldn't use it for anything other than fluid liquid once the strainer starts to collect build up your flow is drastically reduced so I would refrain from using anything to viscous 5Great filterWow!This will filter very small particlesI have used it to filter wine and i was amazed about how much this filter caught after i have racked the wine twice! 5Perfect for straining used oilThis is just the type of product I was looking for to strain used cooking oil and bacon grease. This is like for extracting juice out of jam. Nothing will het passed these holes. 3
