    Sizing The dish is very nice but the plastic cover is too small. I guess Corningware is coming from another manufacturer/country (???) since the new pieces are a different size according to the other reviews. Very disappointed. 1Did not fit my 1. 5 qt corning ware ... Did not fit my 1.5 qt corning ware. 3Wrong lid for shallow dish We ordered the 1.5 qt shallow french white casseroll and added the lid to the order. The trouble was that the lid is for the deeper dish and is too small for the shallow dish. The lid works fine on our deeper dish, but we don't have one that fits the shallow dish. Amazon did credit our account and let us keep the smaller lid. 3Doesn't fit Corning 1.5 qt Oval Casserole This was way too small to fit the Corningware French White 1.5 Qt Casserole that I ordered at the same time. Returned for refund 1works great. Had to purchase the wrong one to fit ... works great. Had to purchase the wrong one to fit on the right Corningware dish. 5Perfect! Exactly as described. 5No the size need it. Too difficult to match ... No the size need it. Too difficult to match description on website to description in my lid. I will try to get it in another way. 2Don t buy Does not fit the dish I bought it for: 1Fit EXACTLY like the originals These are authentic made in the USA Corningware covers that fit like a glove. Just be sure you order the correct unit # as found on the original covers if you have them Otherwise, try the Corningware site. That site also has the round covers that were not avail on Amazon when I needed them. 5Happy to Find a Replacement Good for storage in the refrigerator, but not for re-heating in the microwave. Our old lid turned brittle and cracked. 4
