It broke in the first weekI bought this cup to use on a beach trip and it didn't even make it the whole week. It fell from my chair cup holder into the sand and the straw broke in half (that was not a high fall) then two days later I noticed the lid was cracked on the inside. I'm soooo disappointed. I purchased two of these at the same time but haven't used the other one yet. I hope it lasts longer than the first one. I love the look of it, I would have purchased more in other colors if it was better quality.2pretty but sweatsI really like the look of this cup. I wanted one just to reserve for my ice water, and this pretty design is perfect. It sparkles and looks nice with light shining through it without looking like a kid's cup. Unfortunately, it also sweats, which is very annoying to me... I have to have a coaster or napkin under it on my desk. If it gets knocked over, it does leak a bit around the straw. So, it's pretty, it works, but it's not leak-proof or dry on the outside. It gets an overall three stars-- an "OK"-- from me.3Five Stars 52hr warm. Good lid,. Clear. Not life changing. (Update)Update: Have to lower this to 3 stars. It didn't survive it's first drop. Plastic is just too brittle. If the thermal properties were better I could forgive it but for this price it needs to be better insulated or more durable or both. I'd recommend a double wall Tervis instead. Even for hot liquid like coffee. Really stays warm longer then this. Oh well.Works as advertised. Design wise it's got a great lid for hot coffee. Although I am confused why they have a straw. Kinda pointless because it doesn't seem to fit. Still it's a nice cup, good size and keeps coffee hot for about an hour, warm for 2. So it does live upto the 2 hour hot claim. Still not as good as my Thermos cup but it's clear and that's hard to find. Also my wife likes the pattern on the side. Overall I'd recommend this, just don't expect it to change your life.3I have 3 of these now & they're terrific! Getting more for home & travel!I have a system with 3 of these for work. 1 I call my brew cup-love that I can steep my tea right in the cup without melting it! The 2nd & 3rd cups I alternate filling with ice to pour my brewed tea over & using as my active drinking cup. It might seem like a lot of work, but this way I'm never without a healthy & hydrating beverage. No more waiting for tea to brew, then cool before I can drink it, & it is a great size-fits in my car holder, big enough to quench my thirst & still have enough left over that I'm not always running to get more water. Really love that I can drink hot & cold out of the same cup if I feel like something hot, too. I don't really use the straw, but I like that it comes with one if I wanted to use it. The flippy thing that stops it from spilling can be a mild challenge to snap closed sometimes, but I've found if you don't hear it snap (or click) then stop for a second, look at it & close it again-you'll most likely get the snap/click then. I have also used it with hot cocoa & cider packets-make sure the cap is on straight, & shake it up-it mixes really well! (That's also how I dissolve my sugar packets before putting in the tea bags. DON'T SHAKE WITH TEA BAGS, though, unless you like drinking loose tea. I learned the hard way! lol)5PerfectionI adore this thermos/tumbler. It is exactly what I was looking for because it can be used for hot or cold liquids. I love the design and the removable straw. I use it mostly for iced coffee at the moment because it's the perfect size for that. I have dropped it a couple of times now and there's not a dent, crack or scratch on it. It also washes in the dishwasher just fine and even fits well in my car cup holders. I ordered the white one & receive many compliments on how cute it is when I take it to work.5A design flawI liked that it could be made airtight by closing the flip top lid. I figured it would be great for keeping a beverage at my desk that I could just close up during those times I'm not at my desk, which is often. The problem is you cannot drink out of it without the straw, and to close the airtight lid you need to unscrew the cap and remove, a now wet, straw.2Functional and beautifulI love tea. I also love being able to see the beautiful colors of teas instead of having them hidden. I searched for a clear travel tumbler and decided on this one.The faceted gemstone effect of the tumbler walls makes any liquid within look extra beautiful and appealing. The double wall does a great job of insulating and preventing condensation. It's also slender enough to fit into normal cup holders.The only downside is the lid. It works just fine and has so far been perfectly leakproof, so it poses no functional issues - but it looks and feels a bit cheap. The pop-up cover takes two hands to close, as well. I dock it a star because I've seen so many lids for thermoses and travel mugs with better designs. Personally, I don't really care too much about it and think this was a great purchase!4vinegar and oil and this is the perfect size to both make and store the dressing I call this purchase "Off label" because I use this tumbler to prepare and store salad dressing. I prepare my own dressing using a dry mix of ingredients, vinegar and oil and this is the perfect size to both make and store the dressing. The screw on/snap lid allows no leakage while shaking to mix the ingredients.Very pleased with this item. 5This is the travel cup you've been looking for...I love this cup way more than I expected. It's actuallt leak proof, I shake together my coffee every morning, pretending it's a martini, and it has yet to leak. The white cap tends to be a little more challenging to clean and the coffee stains it a bit but it's really no big deal yet, since I only use it for coffee. I liked the cup so much that I bought one for my co-teacher. I love how large the cup is, the quartz-look of the cup, and the colour selection. Thank you!5LEAK PROOF - CRACKS EASILY - A FEW TOUGH SPOTS TO CLEAN IN THE LIDDespite a few labor intensive cleaning bits/crevices in the lid, this is truly a great tumbler. I love that I can put it in my purse without worry of leaking. I own a few of these.The downfalls..... the gasket/o ring for the lid - not possible to buy JUST the ring. The company requires purchasing a whole new lid plus shipping. It they took better care of the customers, they would make the replacement lids available on Amazon as well. The O ring/gasket gets stained and dirty from iced coffee. Sometimes, they just get lost in the wash. Without the O Ring/Gasket, you have a leaky, useless tumbler.Learn to be resourceful with most things in life. 1) Google the company name 2) find their website and email them for replacement info. If more customers made direct complaints/requests, perhaps they'll do something about it.I can't be bothered to ever use the straw as you can never close the lid. If you have it sitting stationary all day, then it's not an issue.*Warning - one slight drop to the floor and this type of plastic will crack VERY easily. I have even received a brand new one with cracks.Despite these negatives, the fact that it is leakproof, makes it a winner for looks and function.4Five StarsVery sturdy and great for the office.5
