Great stuff. Wouldn t be without it This tape, by itself, is non adhesive. You apply drywall joint compound to the wall, place the tape over the compound, and using a drywall joint knife or trowel, press or embed the tape in the compound. This will cause the compound to penetrate through the porous tape. You then apply compound on top of the tape, sandwiching the tape in compound. The result is a well adhered, strong patch. It works great for patching, and sealing and reinforcing cracks. 5 Easy to use, but wear gloves and a mask I am so happy I discovered FibaFuse:- very easy to use - no bubbles or poor adhesion even in the hardest to reach places;- can be used with hot and regular mud;- stronger than mesh tape;- thinner than paper tape repairs are less noticeable.Gloves (thicker nitrile gloves work great) and masks are a must. Baby powder helps to protect neck from cuts if you are working on bigger scale repairs or use FibaFuse for taping. 5 Good for cracks and drywall repair Love this product 5 you can apply thin coats of mud and it hides well and will not crack. this is the best for sheet rock repair or taping in general.it is fiber glass though so best to wear latex gloves to keep it out of your skin.. 5 Great for Patching Thinnest tape out there, you can literally use it as a flat patch without it ending up as a big lump patch on your wall. Use gloves because it definitely itches if it contacts your skin! 4 Thin, strong and sands smooth I had a crack that just would not stop reopening no matter that I tried. This stuff, wow, it sands smooth and is super strong. 5 Excellent product. I never used this product before. Faced with an unusual need, this product exceeded exceeded my expectations. 5 Good Product - Bad Shipping The drywall repair mesh worked well with the waterproofing I used for a tub surround I installed. I was however very disappointed with quoted availability vs the actual availability - I paid for expedited shipping so that I could receive the product quickly upon availability. Turns out I received the product much earlier than the quoted availability and as such could have saved the excessive expedited shipping cost : (. 5 Easy to use, very flat and hopefully strong I bought this to repair cracks in plaster ceilings. I reinforced the crack with screws and used this. So far so good but we won't know if it's 100% until it has some time.
