    Great for lattes This coffee tamper is one of the best I have ever used, and my way over priced Breville Barista Express BES870XL Espresso Machine works better with it. Base unscrews from the handle. Not sure why. Its easy to clean either way. 5Great tamper - works way better than any that I've used! This is a great product! Easy to use and ergonomic. You wouldn't think that there would be much difference in tappers, but I have to say this one far surpasses those that come with espresso machines and even some that I've purchased independently. My son bought this for his machine and let me know that I should order it. I did, and am glad! 5Perfect Tamper for Commercial 58mm Portafilters This tamper is absolutely perfect. The weight is just right it feels weighty and sturdy. This was a perfect way to up my espresso game. Now my shots are coming out even and smooth. The polish on this is great and it may have a anti static treatment as none of the grinds stick to the metal surface. An added bonus is the height of the tamping surface before it tapers to the handle portion. It allows me to tamp evenly with the top of the portafilter and be more consistent. I use this with my Gaggia Classic 58mm portafilter basket.
