    • 2 Stage grinding mechanism is made of case-hardened steel which is specially treated to keep the teeth razor sharp and protect from corrosion
    • Releases maximum flavor and aroma by first cracking each peppercorn before it is ground
    • Classic grind adjustment: turn the top knob tighter (clockwise) for finer grinds; looser (counter-clockwise) for coarser grinds

    Five Stars Can t afford a Peugeot car, but I ve got two Peugeot in the kitchen! 5Four Stars and half Nothing better than Peugeot for pepper grinder. I only gave it a 4 1/2 stars because I bought the smaller version of the grinder should have bought the larger version but more $. 4Peuqeot Pepper Mill This pepper mill matches our new stainess steel oven and black granite countertop. It's superior design, high quality function and detail ensures it will be part of our kitchen for years to come. 5Five Stars Awesome sauce...for reals 5Nice mix of metal and wood A nice mix of metal and wood, but not as clean lined as some earlier Peugeot pepper mills. While not an adjsutable grind, it gives a nice coarse grind that you would expect from Peugeot. Have used Peugeot for years and felt confident giving as a gift. 5Looks nice, doesn't perform as described, poor customer service The design is beautiful. But, as we often hear, it's what's on the inside that counts. In this case, I'm disappointed. The grinder arrived with peppercorns already in it. Not sure if that is how they ship them or if someone else had it first and returned it.This grinder would only produce a medium to fine grind. Loosening the top knob had little effect. In fact, the knob fell off in my attempt to get a coarse grind.When I contacted customer service to return the item, they didn't seem interested in being helpful but were sure to tell me all the restrictions on returns--must be unused, in original packaging, etc. This was *after* I told them the grinder is defective, doesn't adjust. Any additional messages sent to them only got me an auto-response saying, "Your message has been noted."To recap: Beautiful product that looks and feels nice. Doesn't perform as described. Customer service is minimally helpful. 2beautiful but the wood warped after a few weeks love these beautiful mills but the wood split and warped a few weeks after I started using them.
