    Feels kinda cheap, but performs like a champ I wanted to wait a while after purchasing this before I provided a review- just to be sure it didn't fall apart like my previous shower head. I prefer metal products for this use, but this holds up well. There's no need for taping the thread, just screw onto the faucet by hand- no tools needed or recommended, or you'll crack it and it'll leak.Pretty powerful, even on the lowest setting. Using the focused spray tended to make the water reflect off you and all over the place. It's great, but don't say I didn't warn you... 5Meh Fit on this thing is sloppy. Can't imagine that much slop in their manufacturing tolerances.The internal seal between the selected spray options doesn't really seal.That being said the stream is what I had hoped and much better than what it replaced. 2Great Showerhead for the Money This is a great, low-cost showerhead that does what it's supposed to - provide a reliable, soft spray of water for your shower. I don't use any of the pulsation features, I just like the soft spray that comes out in the non-pulsating position. For the money you can't beat it. Of course, it's made of plastic, and there are far fancier showerheads available, but for the basic function of taking a nice shower this product is hard to beat. 5Not like they used to make them Not like they used to make them. I have had a couple of these shower heads. The older ones just feel like they were made better. The water pressure isn't what it used to be. 2so so pressure my old waterpic sm-2u has much more pressure,I cleaned it up and going to use it. 2Strong stream, focused shower head. Great value. I bought a $68 shower head and returned it for not having enough water pressure. I decided to go with this simple shower head and I'm glad I did. If you just want a focused, strong stream shower, this is your best choice. Installs in seconds. Durable, yet don't over-tighten or the plastic will snap (learned the hard way). 5Best showerhead I've used Among all the shower heads I tried, I like waterpik that my friend recommended. I bought one with handheld shower for the master bath, it was pretty good. After reading the reviews, I bought this Waterpik SM-423 for a guest bathroom to match the color. I was a little suspicious when this "cheap-looking" little shower head first arrived. I took a shower right away after I put it on and I was very surprised and amazed by it the water power this little thing generated. Turns out it's even better than the one with handheld shower. I've been using this shower head for over one month and I highly recommend it. 5Lacks the spray intensity of it's predecessor! I have owed water pik shower massages for over 25 years and until I recently replaced my shower head, I never realized how much they have gone down hill. I don't mind that the feel is very "PLASTIC" but with all the new water savers, This unit is fairly worthless. I doubt if I even return it to Amazon. I guess the moral of this story would be that, "You get what you pay for" The main shower setting is very weak but the 2-4 shower setteings are really bad. Well we all get the point. Shop around and find a better unit for your showering needs. 2Simple Installation and Great Results! So easy! I am not enthusiastic about plumbing projects. I wasn't looking forward to this fix-it chore.But, the old shower head was developing a noticeable blacked appearance. It worsened, and I knew I had to take action.Amazon had this on the doorstep in a day or two. And so it was time to take on the task.The instructions made everything appear very simple. No tools to be needed. Just screw off the old showerhead. Then screw on this new one. That was really all there was. I applied no plumbers tape since the instructions didn't call for it. Hand-tightened without a wrench, it sealed perfectly with no leakage.The repair was done in minutes and the showerhead performs perfectly.We are happy with the simplicity of the repair and the great results. Others needing a new showerhead should be equally happy. 5Works well and easy to install Works well and easy to install. This is nothing fancy but gets the job done. Recommend using plumber's tape to give a good seal. 4
